The product usually takes 2-3 days to start working and the effects can last up to 4 months depending on the strength of your muscles and your individual response to the product.

Are there any side effects?

Like all medicines, it may cause side effects, although any reactions are generally minimal and temporary. You may find that there can be some slight discomfort as the needle enters the skin and you may have some bruising or bleeding where the needle has been placed.

What to expect on the day

Before the treatment, you will need to remove your make up. We’ll then cleanse the area for you. The product is injected into the muscle with a fine needle. You shouldn’t experience any discomfort. However, if you are sensitive we can use a topical anaesthetic cream, although in most cases this is not necessary.

The treatment itself will take 15 minutes and you can return to your usual activities immediately afterwards.

Aftercare

After having Anti Wrinkle treatment you are advised to avoid rubbing the area and to avoid beauty treatments e.g. facial massage, Saunas and high temperatures for up to 2 weeks. You will need to attend a review appointment usually three weeks after treatment which is when any slight adjustments can be made, if necessary.
